動詞 〜を締め出す、排除する，〜を除外する、除く，〜を含まない

exclude は、誰かを締め出したり、可能性を考慮から除外したり、特定の数字やデータを含めなかったり・・・等々、意図的に人や物事を”排除する，締め出す，含めない”意味の英単語。
語源はラテン語の ”ex（外へ）”、”claudere（閉じる）”ということで、 バタンッと扉を閉めて外へ締め出してしまうイメージで絵を描いてみました。

反対語は”〜を含む”意味の単語 include 。
”中へ（in-）閉じる”ということですね。
