be overcome with ...　（〜に打ちひしがれる）

iceberg（アイスバーグ）
名 氷山

adamant（アダマント）
形 頑固な，頑なな，断固とした
＊ 神話などに出てくる非常に堅い石の名前からの語。

insulate（インスレイト）
動 （熱、音、電気などから）〜を遮断する
　　　（悪影響を避けるため）〜を隔離する

icicle（アイシクル）

名 蒸気，水蒸気，気化物質　《英》vapour
